Our motto: everything home-made. We produce all our baked goods ourselves according to our own recipes. Our skilled bakers create pieces of art using their craftsmanship. Modern machines are only used when they do not interfere with the product’s quality. High-quality ingredients are the basis for pure taste.
According to this motto we use wheat and spelt from local growing areas.
A special ingredient is the vitalized water “Elisa-Quellwasser”. It provides freshness and a unique aroma for our baked goods. The long dough making process is important. Just like whine, bread needs time and special climatic conditions to unfold the full aroma. It can take up to ten hours before the pieces of dough make it into the oven.
All our free set breads and most of our rolls are baked on stone. Every baked good is produced with the utmost care, depending on its character and runs through a quality check daily. We value the transparency of all production steps, starting with the quality check of our ingredients to the product delivery. It is possible to trace every production step of every product back in detail. Sustainability is an important topic for us. Unsold baked goods are being donated to food banks and wild parks. We dispose of the rest of our unsold baked goods through a professional company that sets value to the protection of our environment. Through this we save about 60.000 kilos of CO2-equivalent.
