Rüdiger M.

Head of pastry department

I started working for Barbarossa as a temporary employee in production in the year 2004. I had not been working in a bakery for 10 years even though I had finished an apprenticeship as baker. I quickly learned the ropes again. They offered me a permanent position in dough production. Because of my commitment and motivation I acquired the position as hygiene specialist in 2014. Three years later I was made deputy head of department. Since 2019 I am head of the pastry department.

Tina L.

Head of Marketing

My career at Barbarossa started as employee in the marketing department in 2007. This department was mainly run by an external organization. A lot needed to be structured to work efficiently. From the beginning I developed, organized, and accompanied promotional and social events and projects. The number of tasks was growing constantly. We ran our own graphics team, updated our homepage, and became active in social media. The marketing team had to grow. We have four employees now in the department including an apprentice. I am head of the department and an active member of our own children foundation. Barbarossa has seen and developed my professional potential. I am also supported when it comes to enabling a work and life balance.  Working part-time and being offered the possibility of home-office when needed ensures family life as well as success at work.

Stephanie R.

Regional sales manager

I have started my apprenticeship as salesperson in food trade at Barbarossa in 2003. I successfully finished my apprenticeship and        the instructor-qualification examination. I became store manager at one of our locations. In 2012 I passed the exam as food technician with focus on baking and confectionery technology. Since 2013 I am a regional sales manager and a member of the review board of the “Handwerkskammer”. I enjoy the job. It is diversified, poses challenges and I enjoy the contact with my store teams.

Julia E.

I started my apprenticeship as salesperson in food trade at Barbarossa in 2012. I got to gain experience in various stores. Since 2019 I am the store manager in Ensdorf. I enjoy working together as a team and of course contact with my customers. I especially like conversations with our regular customers. You get to know them and the products they prefer. It never gets boring as the tasks are so diverse.
